Before joining Bestow, I held two roles at Cisco. A Senior Corporate Counsel role supporting their U.S. Public Sector sales organization, focusing on State, Local, and Education (SLED) customers. I negotiated complex sales, licensing and data protection agreements, ensuring compliance and facilitating seamless transactions to drive Cisco\'s sales strategy forward. Prior to this, as Senior Corporate Counsel - Legal Operations, I led transformative projects to optimize contract lifecycle management and digital contracting technologies, contributing to Cisco\'s operational efficiency and innovation. Prior to joining Cisco, I managed a global contract negotiation team, delivering a managed service solution to a leading investment bank and executing a significant outsourcing and legal technology deal recognized by Forbes (it was the largest managed services deal in history for commercial legal services). I led a large team of legal professionals, transforming the efficiency of our global operations by developing streamlined processes, standards, and technologies. This included the successful implementation of a Salesforce-based contract lifecycle management tool, along with the creation of templates, fallbacks, playbooks, and operating manuals. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in launching a global negotiator support team, significantly accelerating deal workflows and approval processes.I started my legal career in New York City in private practice as a corporate and securities attorney, supporting M&A transactions, public securities offerings, public company periodic reporting, investment management and corporate governance matters.
