As the Global Head of DHL Public Sector, I lead a team of 3 Directors, 3 Sr Managers and a total staff of 41 employees. In this General Management role, with full P&L responsibility, I am responsible for sales, operations and compliance activities within the government, defense administration, NGO, aid and relief sectors of the company throughout North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. This position has enabled me to build strong relationships with government agencies as well as products, such as one to include limited hazardous materials support. Among my most valued accomplishments are developing an overall operational plan to support a global enterprise; planning and executing complex supply-chain solutions that required every form of freight movement; and designing and developing storage, movement and distribution services for the U.S. Department of Defense.
