ABOUT ETHAN KRAKAR

I\'m a junior studying Political Science (with a pre-law emphasis) and Psychology at the University of Missouri, Columbia. In Spring 2025, I served as an intern for the Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives, Jonathan Patterson. I have learned valuable skills in policy analysis, policy research, constituent services, and the legislative process. This opportunity has served as an amazing opportunity to begin my journey towards becoming a general counsel for politicians in our state or federal government. In addition to my internship with Speaker Patterson, I serve as a research assistant for Dr. Helle\'s Addiction Science Lab. I work closely with various campus departments to share information on reducing alcohol and cannabis addiction/usage on campus. My role in the lab involves creating meaningful presentations, resource guides, and research surveys using Qualtrics and Microsoft Office. I appreciate the opportunity to make meaningful strides in changing drug policy and enhancing our addiction services within schools. These skills and experiences are just a few ways I’m working to achieve my ultimate goal: being a general counsel for politicians in our state or federal government. I\'d love the opportunity to connect about working within the state or federal government.
