About Ethan Esparrago
I am a sophomore from NYC pursuing a B.S. in International Business and Finance at The George Washington University as I seek to utilize business to gain global perspectives. I have always found a deep passion for connecting with people, working to understand each face for the story they tell. In high school, I had the privilege of utilizing tennis to explore this passion, working at the U.S. Open, one of the most diverse sporting environments in the world, as a member of the ball crew, as well as having the honor of leading as captain of my high school’s varsity tennis team to a team trip in Portugal. Witnessing how tennis unites individuals from different backgrounds and cultures is a surreal experience that I strive to emulate in every aspect of my life. As a result, I hope to do the same within my academic and professional career. Here at GW, just steps away from the nation’s Federal Reserve, I am eager to learn more about finance and business to understand a similar interconnectedness across sectors, the same as I have seen amongst people.
