About Ethan Eibe

Ethan Eibe is a play-by-play broadcaster, writer and storyteller with Major League aspirations. He has spent his last several years racking up experience in several mediums across collegiate and professional sports. Ethan’s one true passion in life is baseball, but his value can be found in his versatility. Inspired by former Miami Marlins broadcaster Rich Waltz, Ethan aims to take his audience on a journey through a game or season through his play-by-play. Crafting a narrative while educating and entertaining the audience is where Ethan finds his niche. Ethan graduated from the University of Florida in May 2025 and has turned his attention to professional and collegiate broadcasting opportunities. He has five seasons of summer baseball under his belt already, including three at the independent professional level with the Pecos League’s Alpine Cowboys, one with the Cape Cod Baseball League’s Wareham Gatemen and more recently with the Pioneer League\'s Rocky Mountain Vibes. Spending four years covering a major SEC program (and a March Madness national championship run) only further propelled him to pursue this line of work.During his time at UF, Ethan took it upon himself to make his mark on student play-by-play. He created the Orange & Blue Sports Network to provide students with a platform for live radio play-by-play of Gators sporting events as well as an outlet for podcasting. He is always looking to inspire others and leave something better than when he found it.
