ABOUT ETHAN SMITH

As a Data Analyst at Fastrics, I prioritize critical thinking, creativity, effective communication, and diligence in my daily work. I pride myself on ensuring that our clients are given a final product that exceeds expectations while meeting specified guidelines for each project. Each project provides a new challenge and method of finding a solution, which allows me to evolve as an analyst. I am always looking for new tools and programs to incorporate in my work, as staying ahead of advancements in the analytical space is an important part of my role. I strive in working environments that are highly social and encourage working as a team, as I think that a close team that is able to communicate well will always have a thorough output, which at Fastrics is never a problem!My Masters Degree in Management Information Systems from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University has given me the tools necessary to succeed in my career. The technical and analytical skills I developed during this program gave me the foundation of knowledge to go above and beyond in my day-to-day tasks. Through my master’s program concentrations in Enterprise Analytics and Intelligence, and Enterprise Security and Risk Management, I have been able to use industry best practices and frameworks that allow me to contribute valuably in the workplace. Go Hoosiers!Outside of work, I focus mainly on music. Whether I am playing on my guitar or piano, or listening to a vinyl I recently picked up on my record player, there is always some kind of music playing in my apartment (to the annoyance of some neighbors for sure).
