Communication is everything. Over the past six years in the service industry, I’ve developed a genuine passion for connecting with customers and building long-term relationship skills I now bring into professional settings with clients and teams.I’m an Accounting & Finance sophomore at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and currently a Tax Prep Intern at Williams Group. I’m committed to not only pursuing a career in accounting and finance, but excelling in it. My plan is to earn my CPA and, eventually, an MBA.Some people assume strong communication is separate from accounting, but I see it as a competitive advantage. Understanding financial statements is important; being able to translate them into clear insights and tell the story they reveal about a business is what creates real value.
