Hi! My name is Ethan, and I am passionate about redefining the goals of business to have positive social and environmental impacts on communities, societies, and the world. My passion for this began in my first year of university, when I learned about social entrepreneurship through a club called Enactus, which gives students opportunities to create and lead their own social enterprises. Since then, I have continued to participate in experiences that allow me to learn more about social impact in business. Some of my specific interests include building local, sustainable food systems, creating more connected communities to reduce social isolation, and empowering people from underserved communities to have influence in important decision-making processes. I believe that relationships built on a foundation of deep listening, respect, and compassion are the key to solving the many complex challenges we face locally and globally. This includes our relationships with ourselves, with others, and with the natural world.
