Design Engineering Team for the People’s Mosquito, working to bring a fully flying de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito back to UK skies. The People\'s Mosquito is a not-for-profit organisation and a Registered Charity and is building the first Mossie, right here in Britain, in over 70 years. As the first truly multi-role aircraft, this historically important engineering marvel will help to educate current and future generations not just in its remarkable achievements but also the ground breaking methods used in creating this world beating aircraft therefore commemorating all of the people who were involved in designing, building, operating and maintaining it. Software skills include CATIA V5, CATIA V6 (3DX), Ansys CFD, MATLAB, SolidWorks, XFoil, XFLR5, JavaFoil, LaTeX, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, DaVinci Resolve.Hands-on skills include workshop skills, machine skills, soldering, welding and composite techniques. Workshop skills include using a wide range of machinery, equipment and tools to produce a wing box. Composite techniques include various pre-preg techniques to produce a wide range of carbon composite products. Machine shop skills include experience using milling machines and metal lathes to produce a number of products. Other practical skills also include MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding and CNC Machining (XYZ 500LR).
