ABOUT ETHAN JOHNSON

I have always been driven by a simple idea: analysis only matters when it creates clarity.That principle shapes how I study Economics at the University of Bath, where I’m achieving a first-class average, and how I approach every problem I work on. I focus on structured thinking, clear communication and delivering insight that actually drives decisions.My experience so far has strengthened that approach. Through roles involving financial analysis, project support and client-focused work, I’ve built a strong foundation in analytical reasoning, commercial awareness and data-driven decision making. Tutoring maths, physics and economics has improved my ability to simplify complex ideas, adapt to different ways of thinking and communicate with both clarity and confidence. Powerlifting has taught me consistency, discipline and the ability to perform under pressure. Together, these experiences have shaped a working style that is focused, resilient and grounded in high standards.I’m aiming to build a career in consulting, investment banking or private equity, where clear thinking and high standards really matter. I enjoy fast-moving environments, solving difficult problems and learning from people who are genuinely excellent at what they do.
