ABOUT ETHAN HUANG

Ethan Huang is the Staff Assistant at the US-Taiwan Business Council. Ethan coordinates and runs the internship program in the Spring and Summer, acts as the first point of contact for the Council, and is responsible for the weekly defense and business bulletins. He was previously an intern for the Council in 2023 as a Corporate & Asian Affairs intern. As an American born Taiwanese, he continues to explore his curiosity around his heritage through his work at the USTBC.He graduated from Bates College in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in political science and minoring in anthropology. He specialized in philosophy, literary, and legal studies, completing his senior thesis analyzing Taiwan’s White Terror period through the lens of Western political theory. He currently keeps close ties with his alma mater as Co-Chair of the D.C. Bates Alumni Committee and through the Bates Rugby Alumni Group. He is also a Professional Chapter member of the Alexander Hamilton Society in D.C.
