About Ethan Houseworth
I’m a driven Software Engineering student at MSOE with a strong foundation in full-stack development, AI integration, and data-driven solutions. My academic and professional experiences reflect a commitment to building impactful, user-focused technology. During my internships at OpenLane and MealMe, I worked across software development and business intelligence, gaining hands-on experience with tools like Flask, OpenAI\'s API, Domo, and Snowflake. My work included developing intelligent search systems, building financial dashboards, and automating marketing and operational workflows through custom scripts and bots. Outside of internships, I’ve led and contributed to several independent projects- Developed and launched LabelDex, a discovery platform for electronic music producers (https://label-dex.com/)- Built a live full-stack web app, SideBet, for social betting- Created a viral VS Code extension, now with over installs and widespread social media recognition- Published an iOS delivery optimization app with 500+ downloads. I also bring leadership and time management skills from my experience as an NCAA soccer player and founder of MSOE’s Electronic Dance Music Club. Balancing academics, athletics, and entrepreneurship has taught me discipline, adaptability, and the importance of executing ideas at a high level. In the future, I aim to work on high-impact software teams building innovative tools and experiences, especially at the intersection of AI, creativity, and consumer products.
