As a member of the Governor’s Prevention Partnership Youth Advisory Board, I have the privilege of representing youth voices in critical conversations on prevention, policy, and community well-being. Through the Speakers Bureau and Legislative Testimony program, I engage in panel discussions, press conferences, and legislative hearings, advocating for initiatives that promote youth empowerment, substance abuse prevention, and healthier decision-making. This role goes beyond advocacy—I collaborate with state leaders, policymakers, and prevention experts to develop actionable solutions that address the challenges young people face today. Additionally, I receive advanced training in public speaking, policy engagement, and strategic communication, ensuring that I can effectively drive meaningful change. Whether it’s testifying before the Connecticut State Legislature or working with community organizations, I am committed to amplifying youth perspectives and fostering a safer, healthier future for Connecticut’s next generation.
