I’m currently interning at HighLife Studios, a full-service recording and creative production company in the DMV that provides top-tier music recording, podcast production, audio engineering, and more. At HighLife, I’m gaining hands-on experience with professional production workflows; from setting up sessions and operating industry-standard equipment to learning the technical art of audio engineering and mixing. I am going to continue learning and pursuing music productions here, collaborating with different artists frequently and exploring all styles and genres within my own personal music production. I’m also learning the ins and outs of podcast production, including recording, editing, and preparing content for release, as well as how the studio functions as a creative business that supports artists and creators through collaboration and community. Being part of this team is giving me real insight into both the creative and business sides of making great audio and content happen.
