I consider it my purpose (my “why”) to enable people to be more ambitious, collaborative, creative, and impactful. The work that I enjoy most involve (1) driving impact through strategic collaborations, and (2) nurturing organizational and individual learning and growth.I unlock greater outcomes for nonprofits, startups, government agencies, and corporations by doing the following: uncovering impactful insights, building partnerships, running open innovation initiatives, growing research & strategy teams, and championing more data-driven processes. I have conducted research & strategy projects in 24 different markets across 12 countries.I am a thinker/doer who loves solving problems through structured curiosity and pragmatism. I am also co-founder of an award-winning magazine, an interdisciplinary social science academic, and a cowboy scholar. Above all, I am committed to fostering spaces of curiosity, empathy, rigor, and boldness.I’m good at seeing how our world is changing, understanding what organizations need to do to lead, and connecting the two by driving collaboration and through compelling storytelling. I bring together the skillsets of a facilitator, innovation strategist, and storyteller – all three are needed to guide large organizations to meaningful innovations and organizational change.The teams I lead combine a culture of curiosity, empathy and intellectual rigor with qual and quant tools for understandings people’s lives, analyzing signals from analogous industries, and assessing future impact of emerging technologies.
