ABOUT ESTHER CHO
As a Master\'s student in Information Studies at UT Austin, I aspire to elevate user experiences through problem-solving and design-thinking strategy. With a Bachelor\'s degree in Visualization from Texas A&M University and an exchange program at Korea University, I have a diverse and interdisciplinary academic background that informs my approach to UI/UX design and HCI research.I have over 4 years of hands-on experience in creating accessible and positive digital experiences for various platforms and audiences. Most recently, I worked as a UX Researcher at SiriusXM, where I facilitated design sprints, established customer experience frameworks, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to build cognitive user experience for Safety & Security products. I also utilized my Figma, HTML, and CSS expertise to redesign the healthyhorns website as a Web Design and Development Graduate Student Assistant at UHS & CMHC, increasing accessibility to medical care and resources for UT students. Additionally, I have a keen interest in data analytics and am currently enhancing my skills by learning data wrangling and Tableau courses. I take pride in my ability to deeply understand customer needs and interactions and to use data-driven decisions to optimize user experience. I\'m eager to connect with fellow professionals who share my enthusiasm for user-centric design and data-driven design.
