About Esther Nies
Esther attended Grand Canyon University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in government. There, she gained experience in political fundraising through interning at Lovas Co. and competed in the GCU Shark Tank Pitch Competition while working part-time as an associate event coordinator for GCU athletics. In law school, she serves as a Vice President of ASU Law’s Federalist Society and is the Associate Editor of the ABA’s Science & Technology journal Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. She is a Blackstone Fellow and a Summers Honors Program graduate at the America Enterprise Institute. During her 1L summer, she externed for the Honorable John Lopez IV of the Arizona Supreme Court. Following her 1L summer, she externed for the Honorable Jennifer Perkins of the Arizona Court of Appeals during her 2L fall semester. Currently, she studies in Washington D.C. through ASU Law’s D.C. Program and will be spending her 2L summer with Holtzman Vogel, a D.C. based political law firm.
