About Esther Ndichu
A transformative social and business leader with expatriate experience across Africa, Middle East, Europe and United States of America having had the opportunity to work for United Parcels Services holding several senior executive leadership roles.Further to my corporate responsibilities, I was the Executive Vice President of the American Business Council Board; a Member of UPS Women’s Leadership Development Program, and a Member of AmCham of Abu Dhabi where in 2018 I was awarded Business Female Leader.As Vice President of Public Affairs, I identified growth initiatives through partner engagements such as the Women Exporter and ITC SheTrades initiative. I successfully led the region’s efforts to establish UPS as a thought leader in trade and cross-border trade, customs modernization, blockchain, e-commerce, diversity, and inclusion. As Humanitarian Supply Chain Logistics Director, I managed a $7M annual budget in financial, technical, and in-kind support for the UPS Humanitarian relief efforts. Primary focus was to build solutions that integrate multiple business units to create superior value propositions for humanitarian organizations such as UNICEF, UN World Food Programme, and UN High Commission.I developed an innate passion for the humanitarian sector where I have been actively involved with The UPS Foundation. I was featured as a TED Talk thought leader highlighting that ‘Hunger isn’t a food issue. It is a logistics issue.’ Linked shared under Featured
