About Esther Park
I serve as an advocate for military veterans seeking their next executive management career. As a former healthcare professional with clinical and research experience in global health policy, I peer review for the Journal of Nursing Scholarship, the official journal of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Honor Society of Nursing. I contribute as an alumni interviewer for the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and Questbridge Scholars, as well. Skills include: attention to detail, interviewing, research, drafting/editing, soft skills. I am also a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with knowledge of coding and billing compliance. Current with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS classification and experience with multiple EHR and billing softwares relevant with my nursing background. I keep abreast of the scholarship related to healthcare, policy and information technology. Similar to our veterans, I am a warrior. My recovery from an acquired brain injury in JAN 2009 has led to a permanent disability called dysarthria and apraxia of speech in my twenties. While I cannot speak fluently anymore, I have adapted creative means of communication using technology.
