As a senior speech scientist at ReadSpeaker I am involved in all aspects of text-to-speech development for different languages. My main activities involve data engineering and applied machine learning for text-to-speech synthesis. Current projects include developing phrase boundary prediction models, prosody modeling for synthesis of different emotions and speaking styles, internationalization of linguistic preprocessing (text normalization, grapheme-to-phoneme conversion), and mentoring PhD students and junior members of our team.
