Clinical laboratory director with over 10 years of experience in laboratory medicine and expertise in clinical microbiology and molecular diagnostics of infectious diseases. As the Chief of the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory, I am responsible for the management and oversight of specimen testing and provide clinical consultations regarding the ordering of diagnostic tests and interpretation of tests results. My research interests include the development, validation, and clinical evaluation of molecular tests that offer faster and more-sensitive diagnosis of infectious diseases with the goal of improving patient care.
