I have had the privilage of making powerful career pivots over the last 35 years leading consequential enterprises in the business/private market, association/nonprofit, and legislative/federal government sectors. A 3X CEO and 2X Executive Director, I lead with a 35-year track record of adding value, building high performing teams, and delivering 3X to10X growth.I bring deep experience at the intersection of business, nonprofit, and public sectors. I\'ve worked alongside our nation’s most powerful leaders from corporate director and CEOs, Members of Congress and Cabinet Members, to non-profit and association leadership.My latest exciting pivot is co-founding Silver Tsunami Transitions, LLC. As Co-CEO, I lead the firm’s brokerage and marketing segments. At Silver Tsunami Transitions, we partner with owners of small and lower middle market companies to guide them through their most consequential pivot—positioning them to sell their companies with clarity, confidence, and on their terms. We provide end-to-end services from marketing the sale and vetting potential busyers, to transfering ownership.As past President & CEO of the Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA), I built the first, national network of Latino CEOs, corporate directors, and C-level leaders. I oversaw LCDA’s rapid expansion to become the premier resource for Latino talent primed for the boardroom to accelerate Latino inclusion in America’s boardrooms. Under my leadership, LCDA revenue grew 10X, membership grew 10X, and I grew the size of the team from two to 15. I launched the LCDEF Board Ready Institute and was as executive producer of the annual LCDA Board Leaders Convening.Recognized by Diligent as a 2022 Modern Governance 100 Honoree and served on the Advisory Council of NACD’s Center for Inclusive Governance.
