About Esteban A Guerrero
Is ‘wellbeing’ the same as ‘happiness’? • Why are humans never satisfied—is ‘more’ always ‘better’? • Must we neglect the wellbeing of ‘some’ in order to ensure the survival of ‘all’? • What if our institutions are failing not because of ideology but because they are built on the wrong model of human behavior?Humanity is governed by a subconscious engine we barely understand, and until our systems align with it, we will continue to give rise to socioeconomic fragilities, uneven outcomes, and compounding global risks—from AI and biotechnology, to climate instability, nuclear escalation, democratic erosion, and other systemic threats. I create at the intersection of human systems, global risk, and tech & policy design—shaping ideas and institutions for a future where humanity can flourish without fear. I pursue questions we’ve learned to dismiss as inevitable facts of ‘human nature’ by exploring the forces beneath our choices, uncovering the subconscious dynamics that generate both wellbeing and catastrophic risk, and building the platforms that can turn those insights into resilient, life-affirming communities. Through forthcoming publications, a Policy Innovation Studio, and the emerging Trinity Framework, I’m advancing a new model of governance and innovation grounded in how humans actually behave, not how we wish they did. A career spanning engineering, global operations, sustainability, and policy has armed me with the tools to bridge vision and implementation, rethink inherited assumptions, and design systems capable of meeting the defining challenges of this century.
