ABOUT ESSIEN GAGNON
Freshman Science Research Fellow attending Baylor University, pursuing my dream of becoming a surgeon and healer of children in marginalized communities. My interests center on the cognitive and anatomical mechanisms of brain development and how early neurological adversity contributes to long-term health and social disparities in underserved populations. I hope to bring new insights into this field of medicine through research and higher education, while incorporating a Christ-centered approach to my vocational journey.
