ABOUT EMILY REED

As a commercial and results orientated leader, I instigate and deliver change initiatives to progress the organisation I work in - driving efficiency, improving commercial results and encouraging teams to work together. I excel in driving activities through to successful conclusions within agreed deadlines. My ability to understand complex scenarios/processes and translate into simple terms for others, has been an important skill and valued especially when working with diverse stakeholder groups - driving confidence in the solutions being delivered. I am very analytical and highly organised which enables problem solving to be focused and for others to understand the rationale quickly, clearly and understand their role.I have a broad range of experience within the Product/Marketing/Procurement fields, including: global sourcing, purchasing from low cost countries, product marketing, product management of a global offer, category management, leadership, people management, brand management, project management and pricing. I recently moved into Transport which has enabled me to bring a more commercial approach to our transport needs. The challenges which the corona virus pandemic has brought have given my team and I ample opportunity to develop and improve our transport approach in very challenging circumstances - something which I am proud of the team\'s dedication to drive improvement in such difficult times.
