Manages performance grants to state, local, tribal and territorial emergency management agencies with the resources required for implementation of the National Preparedness System Goal to assist with secure and resiliency of the nation. Also, aids to support efforts to build, sustain, protect, prevent, mitigate, respond, and recover during critical incidents.Requirements for recipients must be to designate a 24/7 Emergency Operations Center (EOC), implement the National Incident Management System (NIMS), Participate in at least two annual exercises, but one that is operational based, maintain an annual Integrated Preparedness Plan (IPP), register in WebEOC, participate in Threat and Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (THIRA) updates, maintain a Local Emergency Operations Plan (LEOP), and complete required FEMA/SEMA training requirements.
