About Esteban León
I am a Physics PhD candidate at UNC-Chapel Hill. I am currently working for for LEGEND (Large Enriched Germanium Experiment for Neurtrinoless Double-Beta Decay). I develop clustering, classification, and deep learning models to distinguish between electrical signals and noise as a data cleaning framework for the experiment. I also perform multivariate statistical fits between Monte Carlo simulations and real data to estimate dead areas in Germanium-based radiation detectors.
