Task leader responsible for design of structural typical details & specific sections for a group of 11 deep underground railway stations as part of the $80+billion design-build project; stations consist of cut- & -cover reinforced concrete box sections with structural tiers for concourse, platform, mechanical & invert floor slabs.Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, World Trade Center, Capital Reconstruction: Transit Hub, New York, New York. Task leader responsible for structural design & coordination of 60% & 100% design packages for Cortlandt Street Station Phase 1; subsequently, performed review of contractors’ shop drawing submittals, including segments of the East Bathtub. New Jersey Transit, Access to Region\'s Core Mass Transit Tunnel (formerly Trans-Hudson Express Tunnel), Newark, New Jersey. Task leader for structural design & coordination for the FE design phase of a modified through station at Secaucus (F.R. Lautenberg) Station building. MTA New York City Transit, Second Avenue Subway, New York, New York. Task leader for structural coordination, feasibility and PE design of a group of 7 stations out of 16 total along the proposed 8.5-mile subway service beneath Second Avenue –and subsequently responsible for the co-ordination and review of contractors’ shop drawings for the first FE phase of a group of 4 stations.
