About Esin Erk
Esin received her Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from Bilkent University in 2021. She studied for one semester in 2020 at ARCHIP (Architectural Institute in Prague) with the Erasmus Program. Following her graduation, she joined Gensler Washington D.C. office as a technical designer in Lifestyle 2 Studio. Prior to joining Gensler, in 2019 she worked as an intern at CallisonRTKL (Washington DC, USA) Healthcare Studio and in 2020 Onur Yüncü Architecture (Ankara, Turkey.) Esin’s portfolio focuses on multi-family residential, mixed-use, and commercial office buildings. Hotels and casinos form an important part of her portfolio, together with hospitals, medical office buildings, physical therapy centers, and behavioral health suites.She is a Board Member of AIA DC Equity Committee by WIELD (Women Inspiring Emerging Leaders in Design) as Storytelling Advisor. WIELD, AIA’s Equity Committee, seeks to provide a platform for visibility and engagement to further equity, inclusion, and diversity in the design community.Esin recently became a Fitwel Ambassador. She is a Licensed Architect in Turkey and currently working on pursing her architecture license in the USA.
