As Engineering Lead, I spearhead DevOps/SRE functionality, supporting all application teams within Lloyds Business Commercial Banking.I am accountable for ensuring that all engineering work within the lab adheres to the Bank\'s standards, including decision-making processes. I actively seek and hire new talent, focusing on building exceptional teams with a collaborative and inclusive culture where members are empowered to test and learn.I provide technical expertise to drive change through modern engineering tools and methods. By inspiring teams to embrace agile principles, I encourage innovation and foster a \"Fail Fast, Learn Faster\" approach. I have been a key player in designing and implementing the Strategic Cluster (Mega Cluster - AKS) and Strategic Hub & Lab Azure changes across all Azure infrastructure. This model offers several benefits, including: Multiple Application Gateways (AppGW) in both Hub & Lab environment and single AKS cluster with multiple dedicated Nodepools for each lab (lab is division with multiple application teams and each team has got multiple projects & micro services).These enhancements are complemented by Azure DevOps Pipelines with standardized SDLC patterns for each lab/project, ensuring deployments reach their dedicated NodePools in AKS. This approach not only reduces engineering costs but also provides the flexibility to stay up-to-date with the latest updates or maintain n-1 compliance in cloud Kubernetes.Playing a key role of delivering of CMC (Confluent Managed Cloud) Kafka for Azure. This project was completed in two months using my personal Azure subscriptions and trial CMC subscriptions and after completing all scripting, project was integrated to Lloyds Azure Infra. We also rewrote all Terraform logic to Azure Blueprints.My extensive software engineering background spans multiple programming languages and helps supporting (BAU & 24/7 on-call) application teams with Java.Net, Python, and Node.js language frameworks
