About Eshan Kumar
Hello there! This is Eshan, an Electrical and Electronics Engineer from Vellore Institute of Technology. I am dedicated to exploring innovative and efficient solutions that enhance energy sustainability and reliability.From childhood, I’ve been fascinated with various sources of energy and the most convenient and usable form of energy: electricity. And during my schooldays, I spent most of my vacations at my grandparents\' place in the heart of Chennai. A decade ago, power outages were frequent in the city. Often, we used to spend sleepless nights without the fans. This experience made me realize the importance of uninterrupted power supply for people and I realized that the nation’s growing energy needs have to be addressed effectively. At my university VIT Vellore, I joined various student chapters. As a fresher, I was allured by space technology and became a member of Students for Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS). As a sophomore, I joined Toastmasters to build on my leadership and management skills. In my third term at Toastmasters, I became treasurer for Terra, VIT. In my junior year, I entered Power Electronics Society (PELS) and later became the Head of Finance there. I learned the basics of VLSI and Protective Relays during my internship at the Electronics and Instrumentation Division (EID) at Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR). My internship at Madras Atomic Power Station (MAPS) taught me about the working of a power plant.With a solid foundation in electrical and electronics engineering and hands-on experience in various projects, I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to drive innovation. My journey has equipped me with the technical expertise and leadership abilities necessary to impart meaningful contribution. I am excited to be part of the solutions that will power the future.
