About Ekaterina Esaulova
As a computational immunologist, I specialize in curating and analyzing high-dimensional data to solve immunological and translational challenges in oncology and infectious diseases. In BioNTech as a pre-clinical lead of BNT168, BioNTech’s mRNA HIV vaccine, I co-designed and coordinated the development of a next-generation T cell vaccine entering a clinical trial in 2026. I led a team of two scientists serving as computational leads and providing support for multiple oncology programs, including the evaluation of neoantigen-specific T cell behavior in an ex vivo T cell therapy trial with multi-omics data. I bring a collaborative mindset to cross-functional teams and have experience contributing to preclinical work, early target discovery, and biomarker strategy.
