I am grateful to serve the Garden working to strengthen the Garden’s visibility and partnerships through outreach, collaborating across teams to address staffing gaps and create high impact value-centered solutions, and utilizing technology to broaden our capacity, mitigate risk, and create equitable access to information and opportunities. I am very excited to develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and professional development, as well as the overall human resources and volunteer experience at QBG in this expanded role. We have an opportunity again in 2025 to reimagine our focus through strategic planning and to invest in this very special community gathering place of environmental stewardship, education, horticulture excellence and public programming. I\'m very much looking forward to the opportunity to be part of the leadership team forging the future of Queens Botanical Garden - the place where people, plants and cultures meet!
