Conducted training and coaching for Leadership and Teams on Agile practices. Helped the leadership set up a portfolio level Kanban board to visualize the portfolio of projects and initiatives, worked with leadership in prioritizing initiatives based on capacity with the focus on early delivery of business value, helped facilitate weekly leadership sessions to communicate concerns or impediments and to collaborate on interdependencies, helped leads conduct retrospective sessions with their “scrum masters” / “team leads” / “supervisors” to identify improvement initiatives. At the team level, worked with the Product Owners and Scrum Masters to facilitate opportunity canvassing and story mapping at the beginning of initiatives while identifying and minimizing risks and uncertainties, ensured teams identify MVPs that are valuable and achievable, set up cadences with the teams for team ceremonies, ensured teams tracked their performance through cumulative flow diagrams, helped the teams with identifying improvement initiatives during retrospectives while focusing on minimizing blocked time (such as peer programming or knowledge sharing opportunities, service level agreements with other teams, improving relationship with the business), helped teams move their physical board on Jira and hold stand ups using conference calling to facilitate working from home. At the end of every involvement, scheduled follow-up meetings to make sure that the teams / team leads have the ability to contact me for any new concerns that might come up in the future.Experienced in Basic Stack Kanban: Opportunity Canvas; Story Mapping; Thin Slicing and Minimum Viable Products; Cost of Delay prioritization; Setting up Kanban boards; Cumulative Flow Diagrams and other metrics; Writing user stories; Using Spec by Example and Acceptance Test Driven Development; Facilitating team adoption of key ceremonies such as stand-ups, planning and prioritization, reviews, retrospectives.
