ABOUT EMANUELE RUFFALDI
After a long academic research track in robotics, haptics and VR I moved to industry pursuing new challenges in robotics microsurgery. Since then I have consolidated software and system engineering skills by bringing software from requirements to market release. I have a strong background in software development that allow both to steer and review my software development team, but also to directly craft complex feasibilities for research or select elements of the final product. I enjoy building teams that comprise different engineering skills so that the result contribution has a full system scope and understanding, a key need for addressing the challenges of medical robotic systems. I enjoy investigating in new research areas and when possibly share my results via publications and open source code.
