About Edgar Rosillo
Edgar Rosillo is a Mexican American CPA, a husband and a proud dad of three. He works at Deloitte as a Tax Senior Manager in Global Employer Services providing global mobility tax planning and compliance services to companies across various industries. He graduated from the University of San Antonio with a dual degree in Accounting and Finance, as well as a Masters degree in Taxation. Edgar\'s commitment is to advance the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (\"DE & I\") agenda and give back to the community. After leading Deloitte’s North Texas Hispanic/LatinX community for three years, he was asked to step into a deputy role for the Southwest DE & I Hub. In this role, his responsibility is to foster a culture of courage where all inclusion communities can connect, belong, and grow. Additionally, he serves as an ambassador for our Making Accounting Diverse and Equitable (\"MADE\") campaign in the local Dallas Fort Worth community. His focus is on educating and mentoring youth to explore careers, such as accounting, in professional service firms. Externally, after serving as President, he now is the Corporate Advisory Board Chair of the Dallas Professional Chapter for the Association of Latino Professionals for America (\"ALPFA\"), where he is committed to giving back to students, professionals, and the business community. Advices a board of 22 volunteer leaders who carry out the mission and vision through local outreach. Under his leadership, the Dallas chapter was recognized as the Emerging Chapter of the Year for 2019 and 2022. He promotes ALPFA\'s mission and vision throughout the organization while encouraging others to get involved beyond corporate sponsorship. His years of service are a testament to his arduous work in advancing and promoting the LatinX community through ALPFA\'s platform and corporate support. Edgar has been continuously recognized for advancing diversity through equity by both Deloitte and his community. The Texas Society of CPAs (\"TSCPA\") named him a 2017 Rising Star for demonstrating exemplary leadership skills and active involvement in TSCPA, the accounting profession, and the community. In 2020, he was awarded ALPFA\'s Outstanding Service Award for his dedication and service. Through Deloitte, in 2021, Seramount recognized him as the Working Dad of the Year, which is a testament to his arduous work and impact across all facets of his life: ALPFAmilia, community, and Deloitte.
