About Ernie Levine
Before becoming a professor at the college of nanoscale science I was a yield control engineer at IBM for 25 yrs retiring in Jan 2002. Prior to my years at IBM I was a weldng engineer at Union Carbide ( for three years) and worked on welding pipelines -Also prior to that was a Prof at NYU and Polytech and Rutgers University for about 6 years where I taught and performed research on different aspects of material science. My first job out of RPI where I got my bachelors degree was that of a welding engineer at Electric Boat in New London Conn.

Currently teach IC Fabrication as well as PhotoVoltaic technology in two day classes to outside of the university vendors and engineers as well as to graduate and undergraduate students at the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering. Also perform consulting to engineers and students working at the College on leading edge logic computer chip manufacturing processes both for Phd degree and as part of the team of engineers working on future nodes.
