   I opened the doors of Burns Estate Planning (BEP) in Hammond, Louisiana, in 1993 because I knew Louisiana needed an Estate Planning Company that would be here for this generation and the next. As the founder and sole proprietor of BEP, I made sure to establish referral relationships with the best attorneys and accountants in the area. In addition, I strove to hire the best insurance agents and ensured they were Certified Estate Planners. Moreover, I have a staff that is dedicated to our customers\' needs. Our clients are usually 60 years old and older, and their worst fear is that they will outlive their money. Our goal is to ensure that their money will outlive them. Therefore, we maintain the best contracts with insurance companies to offer a variety of options for our clients. Many of these contracts have income riders that bolster clients\' peace of mind; their money will always be there when they need it. In 19 years of business, we have never lost one penny of money invested in our insurance products. Our referral attorneys work with our clients to ensure both financial and legal estate planning goals are met during and after life. The attorneys recommend and prepare all legal documents, such as Revocable Living Trusts, Living Wills, and Powers of Attorney, among other documents, to meet the goals and needs of each individual client.
