With over 15 years of experience in human resources, I am a passionate and strategic HR leader with expertise in supporting various industries. As the Human Resources Director at Leedo Cabinetry, I oversee the HR function for over 500 employees across two manufacturing facilities. I partner with executives, field and plant leadership to align HR policies and practices with business goals and objectives. I also lead the talent acquisition, retention, and development initiatives, leveraging applicant tracking systems and other tools to attract and retain qualified candidates. In addition, I manage employee relations, compliance, performance management, compensation, and partner with the benefits department on all benefits, ensuring compliance and fairness. Prior to my promotion, I was the Plant Human Resources Manager at Leedo Cabinetry, where I supported the HR operations and activities for both plant locations in the company. Before joining Leedo Cabinetry, I was an HR Business Partner at Academy Sports + Outdoors, where I provided HR support and guidance to over employees and managers within logistics. I have a proven track record of sustaining and enhancing HR processes and systems. I stay abreast of the body of HR through ongoing membership with various Human Resources Associations, and I am fluent in Spanish and English.
