Work directly with executives and leads cross-functional teams to develop logistics strategy, design, and build organizational capabilities, attract, develop, and optimize labor.• Develops strategic plan with long-term vision, goals, and objectives.• Evaluate processes, workflows and identifies areas for improvement in daily operations.• Lead design and implementation of supply chain inventory management and replenishment models to optimize labor and inventories; oversee cycle counts and physical inventories as required.• Manage all staff scheduling and assignments to ensure all work functions and requirements are completed effectively and at the highest standards.• Lead and manage all receiving and distribution functions; loading docks, internal delivery routes and schedules; package tracking/PODs; courier services; and capital equipment staging, tagging, and annual physical inventory.• Ensure 100% compliance with all Federal and State healthcare regulations and organization’s Policies and Procedures.• Provide oversight and manage key logistical supplier relationships, e.g, acute supply distributor, non-acute supply distributor, DME supplier, courier services, freight management, UPS/FedEx, etc.• Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends and incorporate applicable aspects in to the Logistics strategy and business plan• Forecasting, Planning and Purchasing of the main SKUs for the Inventory.
