Overview:Ayco insurance centre provides retirement and insurance solutions to corporate entities, it houses all the insurance policies that Ayco is responsible for including policies sold through digital channel and offline. As part of project, we are creating platform to onboard multiple digital insurance distributor channel partner to offer insurance and compare plans which can be used by corporate client agents.Responsibilities: • Reduced end-to-end policy life quote calculation cycle from 2-3 days to 45 minutes.• Heavily involved in design discussion, daily scrum meetings, code reviews, debugging production issues, monitoring the health of the application, responding to customer reported issues.• Responsible for designing implementing unstructured data file storage ingestion system (LEX) along with metadata for file storage, which is used across Ayco for document storage.• Responsible for migrating existing monolithic application using in to multiple microservices (Insurance application, product catalogue, document service etc) • IC for Implementation of microservices for Insurance application, Insurance Product catalogue service.• Containerized application for easy deployment. Built and supported multiple development and production environments via Jenkins, Dockers and AWS Cloud-Formation.• Reduced overall infrastructure cost by creating automated monitoring of the usage of the various AWSresources, fine tuning the scaling policy and freeing up any unused/underutilized resources.
