I have volunteered my time and experience at my local dialysis unit and supported pre/post -transplant patients both locally and across the hospitals that I’ve had dealings with. It is a very rewarding opportunity providing empathy and support; this is now remotely over the telephone and digital media due to the Covid-19 pandemic, specifically during the shielding process. I have enjoyed giving back the support the NHS have given me after my Dad donated a kidney to me.

ABOUT ERMINE HUNTE

I am immediately available for work.I previously was a Contracted Buyer in a Liaison Team, working on behalf of Jet2.Com at a third party MRO. It was an interesting role, more so being a customer and not the MRO! The Purchasing and Engineering teams were great to be a part of; their One Team vision is a fantastic ethos to subscribe to.I worked for Monarch Aircraft Engineering Ltd. as a Material Controller for over ten years (working at MAEL for just over 19 years) and have extensive knowledge of the AMOS MRO system. In my role I purchased operational requirements for base/line maintenance, workshops/component maintenance centre, overseas stations, external and internal customers. This included liaising with international and domestic freight forwarders to ensure the speedy delivery of aircraft spares from and to the required location. All items were tracked, traced and expedited to the point of delivery. If any issues arose I communicated with suppliers/forwarders/customers accordingly to achieve a speedy resolution.I managed contracts with suppliers, having regular price review meetings and maintaining strong relationships. I also was involved in the tender process both in the Logistics Supplies department and my previous role in the IT department, ensuring SLA’s are met along with pricing structure. My role in IT initially was a Systems Engineer/Helpdesk Analyst but increasingly was consumed with the tender process and purchasing of IT Hardware/Software; it was a natural progression to move to Logistics Supplies and join the team.As well as aircraft spares purchasing I was also responsible for commercial/indirect items such as office supplies, janitorial products, PPE, uniform, safety footwear, packaging, supply of gases etc. across MAEL. This also involved maintaining pricing agreements and supplier relationships.I am passionate about any work I undertake. I believe that I have many transferable skills which would be an asset to any team.I’m currently volunteering.
