About Erin Truex

I am a social worker that is dedicated to building a more equitable community with hard work, passion, and humility. With 15 years of fundraising and nonprofit executive experience, I have worked diligently to present the needs of constituents from a strengths-based perspective to a variety of audiences and stakeholders and I have effectively built, grown, and sustained development departments for nonprofit organizations in Greater Boston and nationally. My skills include creating fundraising departments for startups, corporate engagement and volunteer programs, and grant writing. In my role as a nonprofit executive, I work diligently to ensure compliance is being met and strategic planning spans and incorporates all stakeholders in a meaningful way. Outside of my professional career, I played seven seasons for the Boston Renegades of the Women\'s Football Alliance, winning four national championships in women\'s tackle football. My time as an athlete has been documented in the Boston Business Journal, Boston Globe, ESPN, Food Network, HBO MAX, and Netflix.
