ABOUT ERIN RASBEARY

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, who obtained her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University and a B.A. in English, with a double minor in Secondary Education and Psychology from Sam Houston State University. My top interests include LBGTQIA+ issues, body image, self-esteem/worth, anxiety, depression, career/college counseling, attachment styles, spiritual trauma, and development of healthy mindfulness practices and self-care. As a counselor that approaches from the Person-Centered theory, I serve in a “guider” role and help students/individuals develop their own self-awareness and confidence to solve issues, overcome obstacles, and develop confidence, while also practicing from an eclectic position and pulling from various theories to tailor therapy to my client. Currently, I serve as a full-time Mental Health Clinician at Texas Women\'s University Houston campus and part-time as a Therapist at The Therapy Collective Houston. Open to new clients!
