   As Director Gift Planning and Development, I am guiding the activities of the planned giving program for WUAAF. We work to accomplish this through strong relationships with supporters of Washburn University. I help to secure the long-term financial strength of Washburn University by providing a steadily increasing flow of private philanthropic support for Washburn University through solicitation of planned gifts and major gifts from University alumni and friends.During my first year at WUAAF, I have solicited and overseen the solicitation and documentation of 30+ planned gifts along with the disbursement of from the I Will for Washburn fund.In addition, I oversee the fundraising side of the Washburn Charitable Gift Fund, a unique Donor Advised Fund that enhances supporters options for creating meaningful impact at Washburn.
