   Integrate career education and experiential learning activities with pre-professional career academic programs offered at Fairfax Academy for Communications and the Arts which houses eleven industry-focused programs. • Represent the school system and Fairfax Academy at business/community events and for recruitment purposes to foster the development of career experience opportunities for students.• Perform networking, recruiting, and various types of PR/marketing duties for the Academy and entire high school: including, but not limited to creating promotional pieces, newsletters, brochures, flyers, and news releases.• Develop and actively cultivate partnerships with the other schools, the community, parents, local school districts, administrators, parents, prospective/current students.• Act as an integral part of grant creation and development, and handle all marketing and public relations of program once approved.• Coordinate and manage events and performances of all sizes. • Website curation and management for Academy website, and my job specific Google Sites (one each for staff and one for students). • Organize and coordinate internships, externships, job shadowing, field trips, and international exchange programs.• Coach individual students in career development & job search strategies. • Manage numerous social media accounts in all aspects.(Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)• Plan, organize, and lead meetings for entire staff, student body, student Ambassador program, parents, etc.• Maintain a leadership role while motivating and influencing positive behaviors.• Create and teach classroom guidance lessons and presentations regarding career and college readiness.
