ABOUT ERIN HAMER
I am a Durham University graduate with a First Class Honours degree in Modern Languages and Cultures, specialising in French and German. After my studies at Durham, I then completed a Master of Studies (MSt) in Modern Languages at the University of Oxford. During my Master’s degree, I pursued my interests in eighteenth-century European literature and history, and had the opportunity to study palaeography and handle books and manuscripts from the archives of the Bodleian Libraries.I recently began my career in rare books and auctions at Sotheby\'s, as a graduate intern in the Books and Manuscripts department. I have since joined the Sotheby’s Associate Scheme as a Luxury Associate.
