About Erina Tyree

I am passionate about helping to reshape our communities. I want to help others be the best version of themselves, I understand that in today’s society we need people who are compassionate, understanding and willing to advocate for our clients. Times are tough, tensions are high, the unemployment is increasing, people are sick and with so much uncertainty in the world, I hope to be a beacon of light, a pathway to restoring hope and faith in Jesus Christ. I believe that if I can represent the kingdom of God to others by showing his love unconditionally, compassion and empathy then I have played a part in helping those lost souls abound in his unconditional love. I personally want to do my part to help those who are suffering understand that there is healing available to them. I desire to help provide people with the services and/or resources that can help them not only live but put them on a path to thrive! In the African American community we are disproportionate when it comes to seeking the counseling/resources that we need in order to thrive. Perhaps it could be because of the lack of knowledge, for Hosea 4:6 states “my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge” (NIV), perhaps it is because people of color do not see those who look like them helping and providing resources to them, or maybe it’s because the injustice that is currently within the system needs a complete overhaul. Despite this is I want to do something about that. I will fight the good fight for not only people of color, but all people.
