ABOUT ERIN MULHOLLAN ZAMOFF

Communications and Grant Coordinator at the University of Minnesota Law School’s Gun Violence Prevention Clinic, leveraging a background in law, nonprofit leadership, and public affairs to amplify impact, secure funding, and support litigation that reduces gun violence. Former communications director with FairVote Minnesota and state leader for Moms Demand Action, with deep experience in strategic communications, policy, and social justice.In her current role, Erin supports the Clinic’s mission to reduce deaths, injuries, and trauma from gun violence through litigation. She develops communications materials to engage donors, students, and partners; manages promotional strategies and content; manages and prepares reports for funders; identifies and supports grant opportunities; and works closely with faculty and students to amplify the Clinic’s impact.Previously, Erin served as Director of Communications and Public Affairs for FairVote Minnesota (FVMN), a nonpartisan nonprofit advancing ranked choice voting (RCV) and other democracy reforms. She led communications on three successful RCV ballot measure campaigns and spearheaded a first-in-the-nation candidate program to educate voters and elect leaders committed to democracy reform.Before joining FVMN, Erin led the Minnesota Chapter of Moms Demand Action, part of Everytown for Gun Safety, the nation’s largest gun violence prevention organization. In that role, she served as principal spokesperson and media contact, coordinated legislative strategy, and organized rallies and other large-scale advocacy events.Earlier in her career, Erin practiced law and provided employment law training and compliance guidance at both Paul Hastings and Morgan Lewis.A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Erin is passionate about helping others find their voice to advocate for effective solutions, whether for an improved workplace, for a safer community or for a stronger democracy.
