About Erin Zaikis
I founded a nonprofit at 23, which has since raised over $16 million and reaches more than children each month with hygiene education and soap deliveries. Over the past 15 years, my work has focused on fundraising, public health, and social innovation, directing millions in grants to global nonprofits, empowering entrepreneurs in low-income communities, and guiding corporate social responsibility strategies for Fortune 500 companies.As the Senior Director of Global Corporate Partnerships at HIAS, I led a team building alliances with multinational corporations to advance the mission of the world’s oldest refugee protection agency. I also founded RISE by Sundara, a social innovation fund that supports female entrepreneurs in emerging markets tackling challenges in water, sanitation, and public health.Currently, I advise Builders of the Middle East, a digital storytelling initiative supported by the Lubetzky Family Foundation that promotes coexistence through powerful, humanizing content viewed by millions across the region.
